Raw, Natural and Organic Ingredients

Raw, Natural and Organic Ingredients

We use traditional Chinese herbs, organic fruits and 100% natural sweeteners.

Herbs

Traditional Chinese medicinal and culinary herbs are grown in local communities in the United States. Raw plants are dehydrated, ground into a rough powder and infused undiluted.

Organic Fruits

Fruits are grown in local communities in the United States, have micro-nutrient and antioxidant benefits and some are certified organic. We blend them raw and whole with skin and seeds, when efficacious, into a chunky pulp then infuse them undiluted.

Raw, Natural Sweeteners

The raw sweeteners include manuka honey, apple cider, agave nectar, xylitol and 100% unrefined cane sugar.

Manuka Honey

It is produced in New Zealand by the Apis mellifera bee which collects pollen from the manuka tree flowers. As a result, the honey has antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.

Apple Cider

It is produced by crushing fresh apples and using the unfiltered, unpasteurized juice and pulp as a natural sweetener and to include the nutrient benefits. Apple cider contains polyphenols, antioxidants, iron, fiber, carbohydrates, potassium, vitamin C, vitamin A and calcium.

Agave Nectar

Agave americana is a genus of the Asparagaceae family of plants related to the asparagus. It is also called blue agave plant and a highly sweetened nectar is collected and popularly used as in small amounts. It is lowest on the glycemic index of any sweetener, and contains carbohydrates, vitamin K, b-vitamins (riboflavin, folate and pyridoxine).

Xylitol

It is a sweet like substance found in most plants and it typically processed from the birch tree into a crystalline powder. Xylitol contains no nutritional value or glucose and is considered empty calories. The glycemic index is lower than any other sweeter and is does not cause tooth decay.

Cane Sugar

It is a slightly sweet, naturally occurring substance from the stalk of the cane plant. It contains nutritional components such as polyphenols, phytonutrients, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese and some amino acids. Cane sugar is also low glycemic and contains one of the three vital macronutrients necessary for normal and regular body processes in metabolism, physiological expression in organ systems, blood building, brain and neurological functioning. It also tastes good.
